Southbourne Farm Shop was established in 1982 by Chris Bulbeck. Initially the farm stocked only a small range of local vegetables, but over the years the range has increased significantly. Chris runs the farm shop today alongside two of his sons – Jason and Ben – and his daugher Lisa. Another son (Simon) also supplies flowers from his own florist business.
The most recent addition to the shop is the establishment in 2014 of our in-store bakery, ‘Farmshop Bakehouse’. Chris Bulbeck’s son-in-law Phil is our resident baker, creating handmade artisan bread to sell exclusively in our shop every week. We truly are a family-run business.
The Farm Shop has steadily grown over the years to become the shop you see today, but one thing remains constant across the generations: a commitment to provide quality, fresh produce.
Home delivery – PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER
DELIVERY SERVICE NOW OPEN: IN COLLABORATION WITH SOUTH DOWNS WATER, WE ARE CURRENTLY TAKING ORDERS FOR HOME DELIVERY ONLY FOR THOSE THAT FIT THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Addresses in Emsworth, Southboure, Westbourne, Nutbourne, Hambrook, Chidham, Bosham, West & East Ashling, Funtington and Fishbourne. We are unable to deliver to other areas at present.
Aged over 70 or any age with underlying medical conditions

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, WE ARE NOW LIMITING DELIVERIES, AND CAN OFFER ONE DELIVERY SLOT PER FORTNIGHT PER HOUSEHOLD. THIS IS TO ENSURE EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF ORDERS. We can no longer guarantee delivery before Easter weekend.
Orders should be emailed to [email protected] with the Subject “Home Delivery” or “NHS Delivery” and MUST include your full name, full address and a telephone number. The minimum order amount is £15 and there is a £3 delivery charge.
We are currently unable to take orders by telephone.
We are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery on a particular day, but our intention is to deliver your order within 3-4 working days of the order being received by us. (We currently have a backlog of orders, but once this eases, we should be able to start being more specific with allocating orders to particular delivery days in advance.)
We will check your order and once we know what the total cost is we will call you to take payment by debit/credit card over the telephone and to confirm the delivery day. Deliveries will take place in the afternoons but as this is a bespoke service, we will not be able to specify a particular time slot.
With the situation changing daily, we may have to revise our delivery service as the days pass. We will keep our website up-to-date with any changes, but ultimately our aim is to deliver food to those most vulnerable and offer this service for as long as we can.
If you are unsure what we sell in the shop, it may be best to keep your order to the essentials: fruit, veg, bread, milk, meat etc. Thank you for your understanding!
